wildoliver
Bit of a sad looking falcon here, quite a collectable little gun though so worth saving. Woodwork is best described as solid, but not pretty, it has a horrible reddy coloured varnish, but no bad gouges etc. so should refinish well. Cocks and fires ok. Looks complete. Metalwork isn't the worse I've seen, no bad rust, in fact a good wipe over with gun oil and wire wool I reckon the original blue will come up ok. But I think the barrel is a bit bent (upwards from barrel being released by trigger, maybe also resulting in sore finger syndrome!) It's worth saving, no real idea of it's value, but looking around good ones seem to be 80-100, so starting this at offers closest to £50. Go on give the old girl a new home! wildoliver
Just taken this out in to the garden to have a bit of a play. It's worth saving, make me an offer I don't need it and would like to see it go to a good home. It fires consistently and plants the pellet in a nice group up and right of bull, so needs zeroing in properly, it has a scope rail, fires with virtually no recoil (as these lovely little old guns do) I suppose it's comparitive bsa model would be the cadet, seems to fire with good punch, maybe replace breech seal and piston seal, give the stock a rub down and oil or varnish and you'll have a nice little gun. flying cyril
Hello, Is the Webley Falcon still for sale ?? If so then I'll give you £30 plus the postage for it. I had one of these back in 1979/80 with a bent barrel just like yours, it must have been a weakness. I've only just joined this forum about 2 minutes before sending this email so if you dont recognise me thats why. "Flying" Cyril.
