well was woken up just after 430 am by the new member of the family ( jenna just few days old ) and after getting her back down thought go look at a few fields at first light . well got to first farm were have shot befor nice few about so popped in the farmer but he now has someone else come so on i went .

was busy looking in to a feild of half cut half not cut wheat ,when i spotted a dog walking past could not see an owner so went after it . she was soaked and looked tired she was a lab cross and had ,had pups not that long ago . Anyway pulled up at nearest farm thought they may have an idea who she belonged to but no the farmer had no clue.

after having a chat he spotted my shooting gear and asked if i was looking for some land to shoot on i of course said yes and he offered his 145 acres to me to shoot as and when :friends: so so 1 good thing and 1 not so good finding a dog in such a state .

in the end took her home (other half thought i had gone and got another dog he he ) dried her of and got in touch with local dog handler who picked her up will try find out what has happened later today !

cheers tom :)
