Hi all just another post with a question, like i said im new here to this pigeon malarckie. What i wanted to know is there any body from south wales on this forum thats into the pigeons, coz from reading the posts all you guys seem to be from up there England way. If there is any one about would it please be possible to maybe tack along one day just to learn the ropes as such from someone with experience, i dont mind if i got to leave the gun at home and just watch and learn, to prove that im really interested and not just trying to get a quick day out of someone, thanks for reading this, and thanks for any replys :good: ,

cheers hedge hunter

hello mate,

im from cardiff, i've just managed to sort out a little farm to shoot on but i don't think the farmer would let me have any guests just yet. when i get my feet under the table a bit more he might, then you'd be more than welcome to tag along. but i'll have to invite a few other lads from here first to repay them for letting me tag alonge.

but if you have your own land to shoot you're more than welcome to have a go with my kit and i'll leave my gun at home if you like.

its true that most lads are from england when it comes to pigeon decoying, i think there is more livestock farming in wales and crops in england for some reason. probably because of the hills. i had an invite a few months ago from one of the lads on here to shoot in marlbrough with him and it was golden fields of wheat and rape for as far as you could see. absolutely tons of pigeons and we shot 136 between us. well worth the drive though.
