I may be looking to PX or sell my Air Arms S410 classic right handed beech stock, pre anti-tamper model with safety catch, c/w AA silencer, leather sling, one mag, new JSR 3-9 x 40 illuminated scope/mounts, new 3ltr 300 bar bottle with quick fill adaptor and padded gun slip. The gun is in very good condition with only a small scratch on one side of the stock, the blueing is perfect, genuinely an excellent all round gun. Anyone care to give me a guide price both px value and to sell privately?

I can't really offer advice on a price but I'm interested in buying it if you sell! Can I have first refusal if it does go please? The second hand market is weird. I spotted a .22 for sale for £300 the other day, but then someone else wanted £600 for their kit (not sold it yet). Do you have a rough idea what you'd like for it? How much did it cost you and how long ago?

I px'd the gun with my TX200, from memory the gun was being sold at Newavon for £350, i've since bought a new JSR scope (£50) and a bottle which if I remember right was £139, plus sling/silencer etc. also. I guess it cost me approx £600 all in but if I can get a little more than i've been offered as a px price i'd be happy. Now the complicated bit.......a new camo Benelli M2 with the above and my Franchi Raptor will set me back another £350 which seems a bit harsh to me hence the ask for a price guide. By my reckoning i've been offered approx £400 for the S410 but the shop hasn't seen it yet, if I can get £500 I think that would be fair, especially if a potential buyer thinks that's fair too....but like you I seem to be finding wildly fluctuating prices.

If it helps, i bought an AA410 about two months ago it was 8 weeks old S/H, it had all of what you have to offer albeit a slightly better scope and a gun mounted lamp (minus battery) but same 3ltr 300 bar bot ect

I gave £500 for the lot, although it was the inferior .22 version so had to sell it on

Thanks for the info' tosspot...........seems my best bet may be to take it to the shop and haggle a bit then, but surely.......... .177 has to be worth 100's more than a .22??!

I wouldn't give you a tenner for it if it was a .22 :look:
