SA1Gunner
Do you own a XL tactical in both calibres, if so, which one do you prefer to use on rabbits, squirells, wood pigeon and other vermin. I am going to buy one of these rifles and intend to gas ram it.
artful badger
as much as i love my .22, why would anyone want to buy two of the same gun?. either calibre will kill your target species, .177 being easier to gauge trajectory. stuart92
.177 is better for me easyer for all and i dont worry if its in like a barn danmaging the roof sumthing stuart
SA1Gunner
Cheers for the imput fellas, I don't want one in both calibres, I only want one, I am leaning towards a .177 because I think it may give me the best of both worlds in the short term then I will buy a .22 FAC pcp for hunting maybe around xmas time. marky_boy
i personally use my xl tac all the time over my supersport and i use bisley pest control pellets for close range and aa hunter pellets for longer as i find my gun likes them and tbh my .22 gets cleans 90% of the time that other 10% is human error btw all my shots are head shots n nothing bigger than a rabbit i once tryed a hare never again
