countryman
Well for those who are interested I thought I would give you an update on the Skan. This one is the Ultra R32 not the latest offering from Skan. This one has a walnut stock and built in laser. The mechanism I believe is the same i.e. to load push in breach lock, pull back pistol grip about 1 inch until it clicks then push forward realising breach lock and its ready to fire. The magazine is a double sided 16 or 15 in each if you like to leave one empty when starting. The guns a real shorty but does shoulder very well and you can hold it rock steady even standing up. You can quite easily fast fire without taking your aim off the target but this would strictly be for fun not hunting. After all lets be honest here if you need to pump your quarry with multiple pellets to kill it you shouldn't be hunting. If you did need to follow up with a quick second shot then I don't think you would find anything faster. Accuracy, well I set my sights to dead on at 40 yards and adjust my shooting accordingly when the target is nearer. It will quite happily put pellets inside the diameter of a 2p coin. I've had no jams to date but you must make sure you seat all the pellets in the magazine securely with the little probe that comes with it. After this you should shake the magazine to make sure none come out. I put 2 magazines through (60 shots) then refill. You could get quite a few more at full power but as i use a manual pump its then minimal effort to fill back up. This style of gun certainly would not be to everyone's taste but if you like compact take downs that are a bit out of the norm then you will love this, I know I do. http://http://s424.photobucket.com/albums/...nt=DSCN0984.jpg http://http://s424.photobucket.com/albums/...nt=DSCN0986.jpg Sorry cant get pics to work at the moment Cheers Chris Edited September 26, 2008 by countryman
