Harnser
Saw the first field of suger beet being lifted today .Not on one of my farms ,but next door . Need to be keeping your eyes open for the first beet chippings ,as the pigeons will leave the cereal stubbles to get a belly full of chipped beet . What was interesting was that i saw a quite a large flock of pigeons dropping in to a field of spuds . May try and have ago at them tommorow if they havent started on the beet . Harnser .
