Yep you need a fair few in order to get a good pattern on the go, but having said that it can be done with fewer. Just head out into the field and see what works for you, you will soon find out what works and what doesnt!

Also does it matter that you are attracting attention to yourself? Surely you have permission to shoot on that land anyway so cant see any problem there, just the fact lots of gear gets bulky and becomes much harder to lump around the field

EDIT: just realised you might have been talking about attracting attention to yourself from the birds point of view?? In which case the pigeons will soon forget you once you are in the hind and everything is concealed

Hi have got my cammo net hide and six decoys, also got another gun wirauch single shot breaker.

I went out at about 1300 sky overcast, wind blowin towards the hide, set up decoys in the corner quarter of the feild, in a large slightly staggered u shape for shots at 30-35 yds.

The pigeions were attracted and many flew over the decoys low to the ground, but none commited to land. Any advice as to how to inprove on this or could it have been conditions?

thanks for your time
