I use one.com to buy and host all of my websites, easy to purchase domain names through them and they normally have a good deal for the first year. Then it's normally around £20 a year. Never had a problem with them. They also have lots of templates that you can use and the help via webchat is really useful.

Have my trusty Forester up for sale due to getting a van. 2003 Subaru Forester 2.0x With the All Weather Pack 135k on the clock. One previous owner with full service history. Great little 4x4 estate with hi and low range box. Petrol and manual. Features include cruise control, hill start assist, AC, climate control, heated seats,CD player and a massive sunroof. Also comes with a set of Mont Blanc roof bars and a full plastic boot liner. Also has a tow hitch. The only bits to note about the car are, a hole in the roof liner in the boot where the previous owners dog had a chew, cant see it unless you get in the boot and the drivers side window sometimes doesn't work. Just got an old van and wish to embrace the cassette head unit it's currently sporting! So has anyone got any old cassette tapes they want to clear out? Happy to pay a bit of beer money for them. Music taste is pretty varied but any old school rock would be preferred!

We've been tempted by this, but £250 put me off. Don't suppose it came with a 'sign up someone else and you both get something in return' did it? Might give them a ring and try for the £99 deal as well.

Guess it's a risk and depends on the company, do the research, go on your gut feeling and take your chance! First time I did it, sent over $2000 to a company I'd never heard of, to a lady called 'Rosemary' and prayed. Thankfully it all worked out!

I believe the company would still have a duty to sort it out if parts were missing from the factory.. if however the bike wasn't strapped down correctly in the container and got damaged in transit then that might become a bit trickier. Another reason to use a forwarding agent as they should have insurance in place to cover such events.

That's the easiest way, yes. Otherwise you have to deal with hmrc, import forms, duty. You can do it all yourself, and there are lots of info online on how to do it. You can also go to the docks yourself once everything is paid and cleared and collect direct from there. Normally most will only ship to Felixstowe or Southampton.

Basically it means that once the items leave their docks, in their books that's when the sale is fully completed. Rather than at the point it reaches your hand. Are you looking at buying a one off item or importing goods? I've imported a few bits from china and have a friend who is a freight forwarding agent, who I can fully recommend if you need someone to deal with the shipping and paperwork.

Thought about going all the way but frankly I had wasted enough time and engery with it and would have cost me more to take time from work. I know that's what they wanted but my wife delt with the mediation as it was in her name. Poor old mediation lady didn't stand a chance, we only paid the £60 which was the original reduced fee.

Very sad indeed! Grew up just outside of Exeter and my great grandmother used to live in the Clarence, the staff apparently all referred to her as the duchess. A lot of history gone up in flames there. At least no one was hurt.

Okay so I am considering selling my beloved forester as work calls for a van and can't afford to run both. Basic info is its a 2003 forester with an all weather pack. 2ltr petrol with high and low range. 130k on the clock. I'm only the 2nd owner and has full service history. Located in Dorset. Would be looking for around £1750 and can get more info and pics if interested.

From what i understand that in order to blow a 13amp fuse you actually need a spike of around double the amps to do so. So I run a 200amp mig welder, a big plasmer cutter and other biggish tools all through a standard 13amp plug wired into a 32amp supply. Can run the the welder flat out without any problems. Only blown a few if welding really long continuous welds.

Had mine in this morning, (just outside of Dorchester) but only registered a few weeks ago due to move of house. Neighbours all had theirs about three weeks ago. Maybe worth a phone call to check?

I wouldn't say its being lost, just evolving. With modern farm machinery and the mobile agricultural engineers, the blacksmith has very much moved into the more creative artistic space. I've been forging for the last three years full time, and there is lots of new blood, like myself, getting into it. This was a piece from a young smith down in Devon that I thought was outstanding. Certainly a far cry from mending ploughs and making chains.
