dog clippers

Hi Mosa,

I have a bit of experience with these as I own a dog grooming business. There is a big difference between the cheap sets you see in arg*s and a profesional set of dog clippers. The main difference is that the cheap ones come with a fixed blade and you use a comb attachment to vary the length of hair. (The same as the ones hairdressers use). This is fine if your dogs coat is PERFECTLY groomed out and spotless clean. If not the comb will not go through the coat.

The proper set have different blades that are changeable to vary the length of hair.

You should only need a couple of blades three at the most depending on the dog and the type of cut you want to give it.

The three top brands are Wahl, Andis and Oster and should last forever.

If you PM me with what breed of dog you have and how you want it cutting then I can tell you which blades you need for which part of the body.
