porter
Hi some of you may have read my other post about what rifle I'm going to buy. I have decided i'll but either the AIR ARMS TX200 HC or the Pro Sport. Need advise on what scope to buy for the rifle. I'll be hunting mainly. It needs to be water tight and fog proof. Any advise very welcome and appreciated!

porter
I knew someone would say that but to be honest i have no idea what to expect to have to pay, i've always bought guns and got scopes included in the price before. Lets say £75-£125 up-to £150 at a push i have no real set budget as I'm going to earn the money after i've decided on what to buy. Don't want to skimp on the scope, I'm planning on buying a high quality springer and don't want the scope to let it down. Is around 100 enough? bullet boy
A Simmons Whitetail Classic has to be one of the best scopes for the price with a good quality glass too.The 3.5-10x50 costs around £129.95.

j.stuart
A Simmons Whitetail Classic has to be one of the best scopes for the price with a good quality glass too.The 3.5-10x50 costs around £129.95. agreed and i have a aetec in sales for 100.let me tell you this right here.all other scopes mentioned in this post i have owned and none of them touch the simmons wtc or aetecs.just google them and you will see. night time quality under lamp is un real, nikko you have no chance, mtc milky, hawke are blurred up,ags depends which model but even the swats cant touch em. mate take mine and this members advise or you will waste a load of money in the future.wtcs and aetec put leupolds to shame "i kid you not" leupold vxi and vxii cant touch wtcs but the leupold vxiii is brighter but then the atec is on par with the vxiii and has wider field of view. listen to people who know there stuff or have owned what you have been recommended like i have..bsa cats eye?no chance get a wtc or aetec and you will never justify buyin another scope for what ever reason.
