polester
Hi I have just been given another jill and she's got fleas does anyone know the best way of gettting rid of them. I was thinking of a small dose of cat stuff? I need to sort her before she infects my others. Thanks
auto culto
first you need to clean out and disinfect the hutch or whatever your using. Make sure there are no chemicals remaining in there before replacing the new bedding. Best one is frontline from the vets. Don't use sprays or powder (causes lung worm and other probs) Use a cat frontline but half the dose for your ferret This will be good for a few months. Again a good cleaning regime in it accommodation is the next best thing for prevention. I,ve been without a ferret for a few years now but should be getting a hob again next week. I cant wait to get going again. I've sorted all my nets and replaced the batteries for the collar. I still need to replace the most important item though: THE SPADE Edited November 21, 2008 by auto culto
