TheHunter
I wonder if anyone has an idea how to clean the breech\chamber face of my Mannlicher Pro Hunter, the breech and chamber are so far into the action I can’t seem to find anything to clean the area satisfactorily. I have used cotton swabs wrapped around a 20bore nylon brush but this doesn’t quite get the face clean, just the locking lugs. Any ingenious ideas? auto culto
why dont you just buy a chamber face brush
Peter De La Mare
why dont you just buy a chamber face brush Is that the posh way of describing a tooth brush?
TheHunter
Thanks auto culto but all the chamber cleaning brushes I have used have a convexed shaped end and still don’t clean behind the last lock lug. A 14†toothbrush with the bristles on the front might be a way forward if you know where I can lay my hands on one.
