alexm
Well after I shot the last couple of foxes it went fairly quiet for a couple of weeks on the camera, however now the activity seems to be picking up again. I guess it's that time of year when the young ones are on the move and the gaps are filled. Bit of a stringy tail on this one - only the second time the camera has captured one in daylight at this location

alexm
The camera is a Moultrie Gamespy i60 Some previous threads: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...c=51335&hl= http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...c=55772&hl= http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...c=60642&hl= http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...c=69486&hl= It is a good camera and the batteries last months! It's only shortcoming is that it is sometimes a bit slow to take the photo. I believe this is because it enters a power saving mode when idle, so when something comes along it takes a while to fire up again.

JohnGalway
It is a good camera and the batteries last months! It's only shortcoming is that it is sometimes a bit slow to take the photo. I believe this is because it enters a power saving mode when idle, so when something comes along it takes a while to fire up again. That's exactly why The batteries do last months upon months. I figure it to be a better camera for a feed/bait site than say a fox path. Two good things about the i60, which unfortunately contribute to its' price as well, are the aiming laser so you get a rough idea of the area that's going to set off the camera and the small view screen to check your pics on the camera. hawkeye
I have had a good tip not sure if it was from magman or markbivvy.. To use a couple of the censors you have on the wall for burglar alarms fasten to a stake and tie your bait down so the fox has to pass them to get at it as soon as the red light goes on light up and shoot.. Never tried it yet but i might have to in the near future got a few lamp shy fox's hitting a farm and he is loosing chickens,,
