chopper
Hi all, As I've been a good boy this year(or so the other half says) I have been told that santa is going to bring me a roe sack, if I tell him which one I want. Have been looking at the Harkila Roe Deer Sack, are these any good or can you suggest any better ones. Thanks, Chopper.
Highlander
Use the New Zealand Knapsack it's the cheapest and the best way to carry any deer off the field.

cubix
Big blue bag from IKEA, 30p each. Big tough and waterproof, use it and bin it - no need to wash.
Highlander
New Zealand Knapsack...tie the front and back legs of your deer then sling on your back like a rucksack putting your arms through the legs. Head up **** down. You’ll look like you’re being humped by a deer but you can pretty much carry any size animal this way. Unless it’s a damn sight bigger than you! Another method is to tie a length of rope to the back legs and drag your deer like pulling a sled. OK on easy ground say over heather etc, not recommended for rough terrain though.
