Nashty
Hello everyone . I have experienced some rough action when cycling the bolt to reload a pellet in the mag , does anyone else who owns an AAS410 have the same trouble or do you think it could be that the pellets i'm using are a bit on the large side for the loading chamber :( :( :( . I did used to use the AA.177 diablo but found they were either getting blown off the targets or didn't pack enough impact on the quarry :< so now i'm using the crosman premiers 10.5gr . I must say also if your wondering i can get very close to my quarry so i don't need a long shot, usually within a 30yrd range. Any advice or comments would be appreciated :( . Nashty . The Jackal
hello matey, i also own an aas410, stick with aa fields they r a brill hard hitting pellet, unless you use h&n field target pellets....dont bother trying expensive brands as they can b slightly bigger calibre, and jam your mag.... ray..... lurcherboy
Nashty, As much as I loved my AAS410 I always found the bolt a little bit 'notchy' when cocking. I think some of them are just like that.
Nashty
Cheers fellas . I will see how things go. I would like to try a test to see if they are too big for the barrel, on the box it does state that these crosman prems are of the same size as the AA diabs but the sticky bolt is the same with the original pellets . I've cleaned the barrel and have lubed the bolt or as much is possible without removing it altogether. I'm wondereing if it is a trait of these rifles, maybe i'll hand the rifle to ben taylor and son to see if their magic works on it . Happy (and safe) hunting everone . wacker
I have shot an aas410 & a GMLmod aas400 in last years HFT series & have been using JSB exact 4.52 in both & found good for hunting, HFT with no problems loading. Give em a try!
Nashty
Cheers wacker I will be honest, i haven't really heard of these. Available at most good firearms dealers or special order? Domed i pressume if you use them for hunting?
wacker
They are basicly the same pellets as Daystates. A smooth wasted domed pellet made in the czech republic & come in 4.50, 4.51, 4.52 & i think they also do a 4.53. These are head sizes, but i think the issue your having is with the pellet legnth in the mag. You should be able to get them from most good Gun shops, they come in a tin with a white lable & the words EXACT DIABOLO in red, made by JSB. Hope this helps!
