LeeinVA
Big stu.. I cant say that i have heard of anything negative about the SA .223.. I am a big fan of "what feels good" and coming at you from the shooting side that is paramount.. Good fit? Tight groups! Of course eveyone has there opinion on what is the best rifle, or calibre? I say go what feels good and whats within budget.. Aim small, miss small... Merry Christmas... Cheers!
Breastman
Hello Stu, I have an AUG and it is an excellent fox gun, very pointable, comfortable to hold in the shoulder for ages, accurate out of the box and virtually unique in that it is balanced when fitted with a full size moderator The only downside to the gun that i've found is the trigger which breaks at a hefty 12lb, but this is to be expected with a bullpup layout as there is a large bar linkage from the trigger to the action. I've fitted mine with a drop-in gizmo called a Trigger Tamer which has dropped the pull weight down to 5lb and is much more manageable, it will never be as crisp or light as a standard layout rifle. Big Stu
Cheers Mark that is the type of setup i am looking at do you use factory ammo or reload ? thanks stu
Breastman
I just use factory stuff, still not entered into negotiations to get a press set up in the house I usually use Norma Nosler ballistic tip for pests and either Remington FMJ or just mil surplus for the range. They're all 55gr so i don't need to faff about with the scope once its set. Mark
