Wookie
Mark_h, I'll be dropping your laser sight off this wee if that's ok. What night are you about? I don't think I can make the HFT (family stuff), but I'll be up for the next one! Wookie

The Shootist
HFT > Hunter Field Target Basically 'simulated hunting' competition. Knock down targets laid out in a wood or scrubland. Between 8 and 45 yards out. Walk the course and shoot each target from marked pegs in the ground. Uses standard hunting / sporter air rifles. Great fun, give it a go... Wookie
Not too bad. It was a sod trying to get it lined up with the crosshairs, but once I did, it is a very distinct way of indicating range. However, I do see why you recommended the Russian Optics version. It strikes me that that would be far easier to zero. James

I like the sound of that!! Bit of a way for me to go though. I live near Brighton. I would be willing to go but the wife and little one would not be as willing!! Does anyone know of anything like that in my neck of the woods, or know where I can try to find out for myself?
