viking
hi dan, this will only be breif and im sure some will be along soon who knows more, they are a game gun really it will be a 28" barrel fixed choke probably 1/4 and 1/2 and will be slightly lighter than a clay gun, my mate used ho have one and i had ago on the clays with it, it was ok but as with most game guns the stock was a bit shorter than i like so i didnt shoot to well with it, and it had a bit more of a kick than my guns, hope this helps. cheers, Lee Edited January 4, 2009 by viking
utectok
sounds like a version of mine? Although mind is a " essential " and has multi choke. Look on the USA berreta site and u can find out when it was made ( under the main barrel block) mine weighs in at 7 lbs and shoots quite flat so it's really a game gun but it's fine for clays although if I was really into it I suppose an 8 lb plus gun would be better with 30" barrels. I find mine an easy to point quick gun that as with all multi purpose guns a bit of a compromise but I love it especially after I refinished the stock. utectok
Oops sorrry for the double post! Also if it is like mine it was a budget gun of the beretta range made for a few yrs but it has exactly the same action as the top guns just cheaper wood and finishes barrels etc. Should shoot for as long as straight as any good gun.
