malkiserow
Just been trying to sell my shoot bag from yesterday. Nobody wants them as "everyone is off poultry because of Christmas" sad that people link pigeon meat with turkey! Looks like I be preparing 67 for my freezer. Highlander
Mad thing is we were getting .50p a pigeon before Christmas when pheasants and partridges were making .25p how mad is that!
reedbradshaw
ive never sold pigeon as ive never shot a great deal of pigeons. I normally shoot around 10.no and call it a day as i eat them my self. Say if one day i shot 20 and decided to keep 10....would a game dealer be interested in just 10 pigeons? Do they have to be prepared, im guessing this just means the breast? Thanks for the help

malkiserow
Amazing, some butchers think that 10 birds at 25p each is worth me driving 30 miles to deliver.
