Watched it and enjoyed it, rolled about laffing at time and was slightly shocked at others.

1) Fitting them with s/s shotguns seemed a bit odd, probably a good image and a few lying about in the gun room.

2) The use of s/s shotguns with non toxic carts is a bit unusal and no mention of that. Most fowlers and duck flighters I know use O/U or Autos. The shooting of the pumpkin, that was done by an instructor / minder, but he used an O/U.

3) Not picking up as they went along. What saftey issues are there in sending a dog to a marked retrieve in dusk as apposed to wandering about in total darkness when you have lost all idea of marking the fall.

4) What was the vet for ? to fix it up if it was not seriously wounded, or to ensure breaking its neck was humane.

Ye gods it does make you wonder where some peolpe get theitr ideas of meat production from (not the veggies here but the meat eaters).

From a very early age I made sure my kids knew that burgers were (supposed) COW Burgers, and Pig samwhich for sunday breakfast.
