Using mildot for rabbits

Hi,

If a rifle is 0'd in for 25 yards and you take it shooting rabbits, what do you fellas do in the field? I have tried to understand the mildot system but i was never very good at maths, plus they mostly base it on the rifle zero's in for 100m.

The scope is a besonder with the bells and whistles for range targets.

Regards

Jon

Well instead of like a regular cross hair where you have one dot in the middle and zero on that you just have multiple dots.

You still zero on the middle dot but when the thing your shooting is further or closer away than your zero'd for you dont have to guess what the hold over/under will be eg

* Point of impact for 30

* Point of impact for 40 yards

* Middle Dot Zero'd for say 50 yards

* Point of impact for 60 yards

* Point of impact for 70 yards

It wont all be spot on like this although you can work it out and then have an easier time working out hold over and such :good:
