MC Posted July 27, 2009 Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 I love my .17 but it does make you lazy. There is no need to try and get close to your quarry. Anywhere withing 150 yards and it is dead. Yes, the 17 is a lovely flat, fast, powerful round and it is my preferred choice for taking rabbit out of the car during the day. I've yet to try it with the lamp, but I probably will soon. I'm very aware that at 11 quid a box of 50, I need to male evry shot count. I love my .22 though. It is just about slient, it does less than 1 inch groups at 60 metres, and it is light.
