jaff
Hi all, I am looking for my first serious O/U and have seen a Browning Ultra Plus at the local gun shop. It is in fantastic condition and has taken my fancy. Has original paperwork, 1 owner etc etc. It is the 28" barrel version and will be used for rabbits and foxes mostly. Does anyone know much about this gun, it seems a bit hard to find info on this Browning. I think it was manufactured in Japan. The only thing I'm not mad on is the lack of scroll work on the chamber. Is a bit bland - but I guess it won't make it shoot any differently. Any info or experience with this gun appreciated. Cheers
Gordon R
The only Ultra Plus models on GT are the black action with gold inlay. Very good gun, made early to late 1990s. Top quality, but 28" version will be worth less than longer barrelled. The two on GT are £845 and £895.
jaff
Cheers Gordon, it seems extremely well made and great to use it's a farm gun so i don't really intend on selling it for a long time. Well not until we don't have a rabbit and fox problem here in Australia!!! Thanks again
