Posted January 25, 2009 Report Share Posted January 25, 2009 Save your money and shoot 2 pigeons (it's more than possible without a magnet) then when you bring your bag home, put two in the freezer and thaw out for next time. That metal pole in between the wing holders is supposed to go up it's bum and it'll push all the way through to it's head. It's not the end of the world if it's head's not up, but it's not hard to do. Alternatively, shove the pole up it's bum, out the crop and poke it through the lower beak. Posted January 25, 2009 Report Share Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) I'll put plenty of money on it that your birds wont hang on there for long if you just put the wing holders on and not push the spike up it's bum. That's what it's there for. Just don't forget to thaw the pigeons next time you go out, or you'll be trying to shove metal into a pigeon which could be used to knock a nail into a plank of wood!
