Blackbart
I have been out testing some ammo and the results are below. The gun is 22-250 winchester coyote This is a nice back stop and if you squint you can just make out my targets The first target is a 5 shot group using 55gr remington psp(pointed soft point)slightly right but all kill shots The second is with remington 50gr accutip.A better group and again all kill shots The 3rd group is a five shot group at 242yds using the 55gr psp.The 3 together were the first 3 then 2 high left(maybe barell heat something to do with that ? The last in the group is with the 50gr accutip. The first 3 were high right and adjusted scope for last 2. Overall i am quite pleased with the groups and as the target is only 5" from top to bottom every one of those bullets would have resulted in a dead fox.I would still like to try some more, does anybody have any recommendations ?22-250 bullets dont seem to come in many flavours !I guess hand loading is the way to go
Billy.
How far are the targets, exactly? EDIT: I saw 242 yards tucked in below one of the photos Edited January 26, 2009 by harfordwmj
weejohn
i would say try the federal v-shok in 50 or 55gr, they really were the most consistant bullet in my T3
