Yorkshire Wildfowler
I was always led to believe that the Laurona over and under 3" magnum waterfowl model was a double trigger double action by that I mean if you pull the front trigger first it fires the bottom barrel and if you pull it again it fires the top barrel. I have just acquired the above gun, this action only works on the back trigger. Does anybody know if it was made like that or is the front trigger needing repairing. Country_est
Martin, yes you are right it should indeed be double action on both triggers, as this is also a way of barrel / choke selection on these guns. I had one for many years and mainly used the rear trigger as I found that it I used the fron trigger I would bash my middle finger with the trigger gaurd, and wit h3" mags it was quite a bash . I also found that if using snap caps firing one barrel and then by banging the butt quite hard (or thumping it on the floor) you could hear the click of the action falling over to the second trigger. deny essex
Yes Martin, mine works the way you think it should, sounds like it needs checking.
