Mine has got a load of powder stuck under the hammer, so about 1 in 30 ends up as a misfire, as the hammer doesn't fully cock back.
kev 1
I am on my second escort, the first one jammed up a fair bit, then the spring from the magazine shut off switch, fell out took it back to shop,he had it for a while sent it off ,hatsan sent back a brand new one, Had this a while then it starts to jam up,so used 70mm carts and this stopped the problem, then a while later the same spring on this gun fell out so took it back to shop and sent away and mended....The gunsmith said with the 3 year warranty on guns like this Edgar Bros will soon be in trouble

Billy.
Also had the odd missfire too,but did not notice why, You havent stored your carts in a damp place have you? Nah. Someone off the forum told me how to fix it. If you look on the back of the carts after the misfire, they look like they've come fresh out of the box, no pin mark. Apparently it's just powder build up under the hammer and it rubs sometimes. I would take it to bits, but I don't want it bursting into a pile of springs....!
