AVB
My Cocker spaniel has had a small operation on his lip (a resection) in order to stop him getting a reocurring sore and ulcer. The operation was relatively minor but he now has one of those large bucket collars on on order to stop him rubbing his face. He is having a real probelm with this. He just wont move. Just stands or sits there. Wont walk, lies down etc. How long will it take him to get over it and start being normal? The vet said he will need to keep it on for 7-10 days. He is a bit of a softy when it come to illness etc but his reaction seems extreem at the moment. Cheers Andrew
Mrs Sweepy
My springer had to have one on last year for about two weeks. Give it the day and he should be use to it. Then you will have to watch out for your legs . The times she would run into me with it on . It used to hurt like mad. When the time can to take it off of her she then had withdrawal symptoms from it. And she would hunt it out and bring it to us to put it back on her.
