MerseaDavid
What are you shooting over? I would use 2 or 3 bouncers, 1 on either side of the pattern about 10yards further out than the decoys and 1 behind the hide facing you to act as if it is coming into the decoys. A U shape pattern will probably work well but some times it might not. It might pay you to just put them in a clump or almost straight line across the fron of the hide about 20-30 yards out. Take as many decoys as you can because they will stand out better in bigger numbers. It is all down to weather conditions as you probably know. Some people like to put a roof on the bale hide so they can sit under it so that birds cant see them as they pass over head but I have never done this because I like to shoot all round. What sort of flight lines do you have and how many birds use the field ? Where are they roosting ?
Shooting Tom
Its on a rape field, there are a lot of birds around the area lol at a guess about 200 300. the flight line goes right over the straw hide . i have only 1 floater and a pigeon magnet with 10 decoys. MerseaDavid
With the wind on your back I would put the magnet to one side of the hide and the decoys in a small group the other side and then put the bouncer behind the hide. Or put the magnet right infront of the hide with the decoys out abit further infront.

MerseaDavid
Nice one mate. At the end of the day you can only experimant with them. If the birds are turning away then you could try taking the magnet in or move it further out or put it behind the hide and move the bouncer to the front. Hope you have a good day.
