samowen318
I have a 6 month old bedlington whippet, i have her trained to sit, stay and she will come to me when i call her, i use dog biscuits to treat her, however wen she sees another dog or human she will run straight to them even if they are 300 yards away, i try calling her back but she doesnt listen and always takes a very long time to come back or i usually have to go and fetch her. Can anyone give me any advice on how i could stop her from doing this?
new to the flock
Get her on a retreactable lead so that you can control the situation, and pursposely work her in an area with these distractions until she will recall everytime. It will take time but you can train an excellant recal under these conditions NTTF
