Tobyb525
Hi, I'm thinking about trading in my s400 for a multi-shot rifle. I've been looking at an s510 or a BSA R-10. Does anybody have any experience with these? I'm open to other sugestions and I like the idea of a buddy bottle. Thanks in advance! Toby. airssassin
The AA510 doesn't have a buddy bottle, so that could make your decision easier. I use an HW100K and I highly recommend it. Only about 50 fully power shots per charge but you can buy extra air cyliners and take them with you as they aren't very heavy at all. Mind you, do you really need many more shots? When I bought it I did so because it was a highly regarded rifle and came at a good price considering what it came with (2 mags, excellent silencer, walnut thumbhole stock). One thing to consider is how quiet the full length shrouded barrel is.. if you end up having to put another silencer on the end, it will just add to the cost. Although I am very happy with my choice, there is part of me that wishes I had bought British for purely patriotic reasons.
Beardo
i'm with the HW100 vote (though i have an S) - the K is a lovely though.
borntoshoot
i would go for the AA S510 m8. i prefer the look of air arms rifles. i would personally go for an s410 but air arms are good for all shooting situations.
holly
AAs410 hell of a lot lighter than the hw
Beardo
that's true!
Tobyb525
OK- Thanks for the replies! I'm leaning towards the AA but now I need to decide between s410 and s510. I prefere the s510 but its only in a carbine! The s410 classic has a lot more shots in it - more usefull for the range! Seems like a waste though to lose all that money just to trade a s400 for a s410. :( Although I don't like the look of the multi-shot conversion kits. noluv6
I'm a heavy bsa fan but I'm going to say the s510 but looking at your last post saying s410 or 510 I would go with the 410 as both exactly the same except the cocking and is the cocking worth the extra money? You could buy the rohan mag for your s400 and save a few 100? I don't like the rohan adaptor "might have it wrong but i know it roh or row some thing lol". It's fiddly and i like to pull my bolt, cok, pellet in and squirt haha yea.
Rick O'Shea
I regret getting rid on my AA 410. Had a really nice walnut thumbhole stock to boot. Really confident with its accuracy etc!
