lazza
Hiya All I saw an advert in the Sporting Gun & The Voice Of Shooting. It was for a pigeon mover, which the claim could move realistically! When I phoned I was charged £10 + £2 p+p.When it arrived it was just a cheap half shell with an L shaped piece of metal with a flat end to fix into the deek & a adjustable weight on the other. On the underside of the metal was a hole.Another piece of meatal with a point on one end fitted into the hole. And that was about it.Well I thought I'd give it a go.After plenty of messing around I got it balanced, the only problem was I could'nt keep it facing into the wind,it kept turning tail first.I put it away & went back to spring sticks,I've not used it since.By the way,the same company offer a pigeon shooters bag for £18.90.I bought a much better quality bag for £15 from the Army Surplus shop. Deako
Thanks for that Lazza,I hate getting ripped off.I have a very good contact for pigeon and goose deeks, poles, nets, clothing and stuff.I will pass details to anyone who wants them, but don't mention me cos I owe him £200 for goose decoys!
