Stamford
Yesss. Received an email from a chap I'd been in contact with prior to his Pheasant season who told me to contact him again come Feb 1st.. Well I did as he said and he's granted me permission on his estate with 800+ acres :yp: Going to see him this week with all my relevent paperwork etc and to have a scout round. At the moment he just wants the population of Rabbit, Squirrels and Crows reducing which is fine by me as I enjoy the walked up shoots rather than sitting in hides for hours on end ( Dont get me wrong, i enjoy hide shooting too but not as much as walk up shooting ).....Cant wait to get down there to see whats what Edited February 23, 2009 by Stamford

Stamford
Tomorrow ( Thursday ) is the day I go and see the estate owner.. Nervous as hell but also looking forward to getting out again, especially on my own permission....Fingers crossed it all goes well, hadnt planned in taking the gun with me but just incase I get the urge i'll stick in the boot just in case What would be MY main questions I would need to ask him ? I guess the main thing I need to know are what are the boundaries and basically when can I not shoot there i suppose.. Anything else you guys would ask ? Beardo
do you need to call him each time you shoot? what can you shoot? EXACTLY where can you shoot? when (times and days) can you shoot? Edited February 25, 2009 by nickbeardo
