George1990
I've noticed that very few of you are from Sussex area, but for those of you who are, how long did it take your certificate to come through? I only posted mine the other day but would be interested to know.
dunganick
Skippy on here got a co-terminus in a matter of weeks. I would hope a SGC would only be faster! Seem to be a pretty switched on firearms dept.

Skippy
Ello, As Dungan mentioned my name in vein, i thought i wud post my bit! Coterm SGC and FAC initial grant through from start to finish including interviews in 3 weeks. Awsome service and every calibre i asked for....(all six of them!) Where abouts are you living and who is your FEO? Mine is based at Battle and i can only sing his praises!
Macnab
I'm a Sussex boy and in my experience they seem to be pretty average on timing. My latest brush with HQ for an FAC variation was just under a year ago and took 10 weeks and wasn't that tricky. I expect much of it comes down to how quickly your FEO does his bit, how quickly you can arrange the interview, how much you nag and what the workload is like at the time. Hope it goes smoothly but don't be afraid to make a few polite enquiries about how it's progressing. Should also say I have always found my FEO and HQ to be very friendly and helpful. dunganick
To put things into perspective, my co-terminus took 9 months to be granted. And my dads co-terminus renewal took 7 months. Thats Kent Sevice for you.
