Andy W
I went today, not too bad for clothing, I wish I would of taken my gun as the clay shoot looked ok, regarding the £7 entrance fee I asked if BASC members got a discount and the girl said yes and didnt want to see my card so me and the wife got in for £5 each. Paladin
We went Sunday and found it more enjoyable than Newark. Probably not as big as last year, mabe Newark pulled in some of the stallholders? Will go next year.

RhiannonBW
I thought it was alright for £7. The Knights of the Damned were entertaining enough, though I had my work cut out convincing my husband that it was the horsemanship that was holding my interest, not the handsome young men playing the parts of the Knights. Managed to pick up a couple of clothing bargains. One thing that did bother me was down on the clay shoot, a young lad about 11/12 years old was shooting in the competition with his dad. He had all the gear but neither he nor his dad were wearing ear defenders, and judging from the dad's hair do, I'm guessing it was a vanity issue. I have no problem with the dad wrecking his hearing, but to allow his young son to do the same is unbelievable. Rhiannon
