PaulABF
From Stannington services travel north 23.4 miles on A1. Large grain silo. I've never seen so many pigeons in one place in all my life. Literally 1000's of them on silo's and surrounding fields.

durhampigeon
there are plenty pigeons round my neck of the woods around the seaham area 3-4miles south of sunderland then again it is the only rape field i know of in the local area! tony the tiger
I do a lot of pigeons in the pallion area of sunderland, i'm also lucky enough to be living very close to cherry knowle hospital (now closed down) the woulds up there are crawling with birds of all types, so some good shooting in those wood and fields is almost to good to be true... Blackbart
As you come out of corbridge towards styford roundabout there is a stubble field on your right before you get to the quarry entrance and it was covered in pigeons and crows this morning.
