SPARKIE
hi i bought myself a 140 lightforce and t handle for lamping and decided i wanted to make a removable mount for it and also be water proof if it rains while fitted . i didnt want to cut a hole out the roof so decided the best thing to do was make a sunroof insert which can be removed when not in use i also didnt want any toe rags nicking the lamp of my roof.so came up with this design its 3mm alloy cheqer plate cut and tweeks to the same shape as the sunroof this simply hooks in at the front and has a small braket that pushes over trhe little dowel at the back you then wind the sunroof adjuster down and it seals on the sunroof seals and hold it in place ive coted the inside in foam to stop condensation and make it look a bit more presentable inside. just need to sort the wireing connectors now and its all done i may paint it yet and get a bead seal on the edge anyhow heres the pics
