14' 9/10 wt Spey rod

I've got a semi custom 14' 9/10 wt spey rod for sale. I say semi custom because I was a custom builder in a previous life. I bought the blank and components when I was close to the salmon rivers and thought I as going to use it a bunch. But I didn't finish it before I moved here and salmon fishing isn't on the radar anymore. So it is semi custom in that the components are selected already and the grip/seat is done. However there are still guide wraps and inscriptions to choose.

 

Blank is a 14' 9/10 wt, 4 pc. It is dark blue (between cobalt and royal) color with a beautiful gloss finish. The fly guides are hard chrome wire, while the stripping guides are stainless frames with blue zirconia rings which match the blank perfectly. The grip is a full 2 handed spey rod grip. The front measures out at ~19" and the rear is a full 6" grip. Reel seat is all aluminum. Everything comes in a matching navy cordura case. I had chosen a medium blue thread with silver trim to match/blend with the blanks and compoents, but you can choose whatever you like. And, if the blue zircon guides aren't to your liking, I think I have an addtional set that I can swap in.

 

On top of the rod and case, I have a 9/10 wt spey line that I can include. The line is either a Rio windcutter and an acceleator, I'll have to check which one goes with the rod as I have both lines at home.

 

I've built other rods from this line and they are great fishing rods. It isn't a fast action style blank, it is much more moderate than say a scandinavian designed blank.

 

I would like to get £300 for the rod (without the line) and £350 including the line. I'm also open to offers, both lower prices if you think I'm too high and trades on gear. In particular shotguns.
