Staffs-Shooter
Been to Oxfordshire today & saw loads of pigeons in various spots feeding on OSR. One field near Woodstock was grey with them! Saw loads of drillings but no birds. On the way back up the M40 i came across two fields of grass with birds on - clover? Your a lucky bloke Mr Beasley having such ground on your patch! Will Beasley
Your a lucky bloke Mr Beasley having such ground on your patch! Thank you! But even we suffered with the countrywide lack of pigeons this winter. They only showed up again in numbers about 6-7 weeks ago. Funnily enough though I am going to be attacking some rape around woodstock tomorrow...wonder if its the same lot you saw? In general they put the seed in well in Oxfordshire with lots of good drills used and light soil. We shot our drilled ground in Hampshire today........ but I'll leave young Teal to tell you how that went

Fisherman Mike
I have access to some land north of Burford around the Camden area any birds around here at the moment anybody know. By the way, have spoken to two of the local Countrywide stores and the sale of gas guns and bottles this year in many areas is very very low. Big rape fields in Glos have hardly been been touched.
