BaikalsRule90
im thinking of getting into air gunning and in a recent(ish) magazine i saw the monthly gunt test thing they do there was a very cheap single shot pcp air rifle the magazine has gone walkabout and i cant remeber any details about the gun in question any info would be most appreciated. Cheers IA Baikalsrule90 edit: found mag at last... its the crosman/benjamin discovery, has anybody got one and if so is it worth investing in? bruno22rf
since that gun was advertised the price has shot up due to the pound/dollar rate collapse. The uk gun doesnt come with a pump as it does in the states and ive read some bad reviews on other sites about it-i rang the importers (ASI -i seem to remember) for some basic info on the gun but they didnt even know what the barrell was made of!If i were you i would search the you know what trader for a used Air Arms S200-brilliant bit of kit for the money-good luck. LeeinVA
I think the rifle you talk about is the discovery. The rifle comes with pump and can tell you there is a rather large following of discovery shooters here in the US. The only thing is, and that was pointed out to me by another member (shot shot)on this site, and that is the rifles barrel is not threaded for a sound moderator.
