stumacher Posted April 19, 2009 Report Share Posted April 19, 2009 there is a small shoot oin where i have permission and i keep seeing the stoat's around i nearly shot one the other day mistaken for a rat but realised what it was. should i have shot it or are they worth leaving alone. wisecobandit Posted April 19, 2009 Report Share Posted April 19, 2009 Personally i shoot em this time of year as they eat the pheasant eggs etc (but probably not as much as weasals in my opinion) but tend to leave them alone later in the year. I think its more down to the person involved really, some people dont and some do.Sometimes if there arent exactlly there in big numbers many dont tend to panick and leave them alone.
