mark12345
Hi All Having some serious problems with my Dog getting enough water down to keep her hydrated, she seems to drink very little during the day by choice, only drinking when panting heavy from excersise. i know the weather has heated up latley but she still seems to not be taking enough liquid Was out on Sat letting her play with next door neighbours Visla and her legs went after about 15 mins of messing about, had to carry her to the pond to cool her down and get some flewids in, after about 10 mins in the water she was fine and wanting to play again Took her out this evening and the same thing happened, She's a 12 month old choc lab by the way, realy need some tips or tricks for getting the flewids down her, dont want her to do any serious damage to her internal organs through de-hydration Thanks Mark
Boromir
Basic one is and I'm sure you know it don't take her out when hot and sunny, especially between 11am and 3pm. If you feeding her dried food mix it with water.
