Low on Moly coated Vmax may need to switch to copper for a short time

Recommended Posts

the majority opinion when I bought my 223 (18 months ago) was that switching between moly and naked would cause a shift in POI. It takes a number of rounds to build up the layer of moly in the barrel to where it is consistent. A non moly bullet will begin to take that layer away, and will have a different POI. That was why I decided against use any moly bullets.

Thanks,

Rick
