Carbonrocket
I have searched the PW site and done a permission letter that I think would capture all my permission owners require. I do not want to reinvent the wheel and have stolen from others that will be obvious to them so thanks for the help. My permission owners are all clever chaps so this should be plain to them. I just wanted to pass it by PW members that have a much larger collective knowleage than my self. I have not indicated calibres as I hope that the legisation would suffice to indicate, if I have not a ticket for rifle 'B' or the land is not passed for rifle 'B' I cant use such items. Any way laid out nicely on a clean sheet is this acceptable? I, the Landowner with shooting rights, Agree to allow the undersigned to control by shooting, those pests and vermin covered under Schedule II of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981, Section 1 of the Pest Control Act 1959 and any other current relevant legislation. Disclaimer I expect the undersigned to behave in a safe and responsible manner at all times and respect my wishes and interests. I, the landowner with shooting rights, take no responsibility for the actions of the undersigned. The undersigned must comply with all legal obligations regarding the use of firearms. I the landowner accept no responsibility for any non-compliance with current firearms legislation. The undersigned must have current insurance to suitably cover his actions. Permission to any or all of the land may be removed at any time by the use of text message, verbal or written communication. ‘Name’ Has my permission to enter or shoot on the following properties: Grain barn and immediate surrounding area. Cattle barn and immediate surrounding area. Wood store barn next to pheasant pen and immediate surrounding area. Asparagus plant, surrounding field and entry paddock. etc... The right to roam on other parts of the property is with-held! Address. 53 house, small ville, Englandshire WE22 4PL Telephone Number(s) Home 01111 222222 Mobile 01234 567890. Bleeh
Urg, I wouldn't use the term ''shooting rights'' Shooting rights, is generaly the term used to say you have the right to shoot game, or flush birds over etc, where as, most rented land has the right to pest control - if this makes sence. For instance, I can rent land, but be denied the shooting rights, but be allowed to shoot rabbits on it. - This is normaly done if it's land rented on the edge of an shooting estate and they don't want you pinching there birds. Carbonrocket
Tidy thanks, One permission is 600 acres and has a large pheasent shoot on it so I would take it that that owner has shooting rights? One of my other permissions is 18 acres of new plant apple so I should state 'vermin/pest control rights'? Please bare in mind I do not shoot phesants with a rifle! I stalk them for practice but they are both such nice looking birds and very easy to kill, I would rather paper shoot a target. They are not rifle targets at all, as I will show in my next vid. I dont know! And where is this stinky farm, I bet its Hereford based! Carbon
fullbore
Absolutely acceptable, it is the format I have used for years, as long as the form has your name and address on it, the land owners name title address and phone no and location of the land, in broad terms no need for grid ref etc just upper smelly farm is enough and what you are allowed to shoot, as in shotgun/rifle and what quarry covers it all
