claybreaker
I am 15 and i have never been in trouble with the police. I was wondering if the police say no when i apply for a shotgun licence, will they always say no if i apply again when i am older? would the police telll you if you have any records? I was a witness of a fight at school and had to give a statement after that i never heard anything from the police, so i geuss i did not get any thing. MJN
If you have criminal record, then you must tell them, even speeding counts, if you have no record, and have a responsible person to sign your application form, and have somewhere secure to keep a shotgun , then , most probably you won't have a problem. Witnessing a crime does not mean you are involved , otherwise we would all be in deep doo doo. (we have to watch the current government ,alledgely, lie and cheat all time). M. George1990
It's a right to you to own a shotgun. They'd have to find a good reason for you not to have one i.e. a criminal record or house with no windows. Just go for it, but make sure you get a gun cabinet fitted before the officer comes round, or they have to come twice. Put it somewhere out of sight. If you had a record i'm sure they would have made that clear at the time.
