air arms tx200 or hw80

as above im stuck on which of these air rifles to buy,there used mostly for rabbit,sometimes the odd pigeon would welcome any comments from people with any experience of using either weapon

TX200 all the way.

I started a poll in the airgunner forum - TX200HC vs HW97K - albeit not the Weihrauch you're thinking of, have a look for it as there were some good comments from those in the know.

To be honest... there are probably going to be equal numbers of people who love both and would recommend both.

 

So the only real way to find out is to get down to the shop and have a feel or get to a range where someone has them to try so you can decide for yourself.

few more comments appreciated thinking the air arms at the moment.the fields i have permission in at the moment have huge amounts of rabbits with around if stalking wll be around 50 yards last count was 37 rabbits per 2 acres.

Both the HW80 and the TX200 are as accurate and powerful (sub FAC) an airgun as you would ever need for bunny bashing.

 

Both are built to very high standards and both are a pleasure to use. I would imagine if you put it to a vote, it would come out 50/50.

 

It comes down to what type of airgun you prefer to use. Break Barrel or Fixed Barrel - under lever.

 

It comes down to personal preference, so you would need to try both out.
