Bleeh
Well; a long story short, a so called ''Vescomied hob'' wasn't quiet as vescomied as my mate told me - very funny. So, each one of my three jills are now either pregant, or mothers. Last day working - March some time. Anyways, they all got humped late march early april, as you can see, they are very close sisters. But, no matter how close they are, the largest sister is much bigger, and much more aggresive and dominant than the others. Because of this - and the fact the jills got pregant with about a 2 week difference between each other - I thought it was best to split them up. The normaly live outside, but I thought some peace, quiet, and shelter would do them best. The normaly live in the bigger hutch to the right, it's not as big as I'd want the hutch, but I was working them 4 days out of the week while it was the season - and I plan to expand there hutch soon anyhow - i found another two smaller hutches, and the other two ferrets will live in there while they birth and raise. I heard squeeking yesterday lunch time, and yes, as predected, one had birthed the first lot. (She looks shocked, but it's just the flash) I was very happy to see that this ferret had no problems we me being around, infact, the moment I opened the hutch and pattered her on the head, she left me in charge and took the chance to go to the toilet and have a drink!. As you can see - it's a big bunch of kits, which is surpising because the jill that birthed is one of the smallest ferrets I have ever had. Anyways, there's another two to give birth within the next week, so I'll keep you updated. Edited May 5, 2009 by Bleeh
