steve_b_wales
Further to my post recently, I am still interested in ways of preserving a fox tail. What is the best way of doing it? Thanks Steve Edited May 9, 2009 by steve_b_wales
grasshopper
Simply place into a sealed jar of meths for 2-3 weeks, then wash with soapy water. The ones i,ve done last for years and years. Couldn,t be easier and no smell from them
steve_b_wales
Thanks grasshopper. I actually did one like that a few years ago and it was okay, apart from being 'flat'. Does anyone else have any ideas.
JDFrain
As long as the tail is deboned hang it up straight and fill the centre with salt and allow it to cure until fully dried. mind will still smell a little, but depends what you want to use them for.
