radio1ham Posted May 9, 2009 Report Share Posted May 9, 2009 (edited) well this is my first atempt at making them went to the metro centre today and called in to the pound shop for a bird feeder and came across a foam camping matress and set me away think so picked one up anyway and also a tin of grey primer and a tin of white primer only cost 3quid (not bad ) so set about having a bash at making some foam wings so cut the pattern and sprayed them both sides grey and one side the white bands so if they work (will be good if they do ) if they dont, well its only a couple of quid as the primer paints wont come in wrong anyway took a picture to show you all they aint perfect but then again what is Edited May 9, 2009 by radio1ham Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JDFrain Posted May 9, 2009 Report Share Posted May 9, 2009 look good mate, but not to sure if its the camera angle but the wings look as if the are on backwards the curve on the outer edge looks like it should be at the front. but looking good though and cheaper than buying them thats for certain.
